About Christina LeMieux
Christina started her Nursing career at the young age of 20. She had always been drawn to helping people ease their way through difficult situations, and had a particular empathy for those in pain, whether physical, emotional, spiritual, or a combination of all three, which is usually the case.
She started as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, then a Registered Nurse, and eventually achieved a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2010. Christina worked in a wide variety of nursing specialties, from the the high-adrenaline (emergency department, ambulance and air transport), to the slower, more spiritual side (hospice); from bedside to desk, and lots in-between. Once her children were grown and she was free to indulge in her love of travel full-time, Christina became a traveling nurse specializing in preoperative and recovery room areas of the OR. She worked in various unique areas of the country for several years, eventually landing in Santa Rosa, CA in 2016, where she met and settled down with her husband, and still resides today.
These days, Christina works part-time in a children’s’ surgery clinic, which allows her to keep practicing Nursing skills in a setting she loves, while still having time to focus on her true passion: helping people gain optimal health using the powerful mind-body connection via Hypnotherapy, along with, the spiritual energy practice of Reiki, light hands-on healing touch. Christina helps her clients harness the strength and wisdom of their subconscious selves in their healing or other transformational goals, creating profound and long-lasting results.

Discovering Reiki
“I first encountered Reiki in Phoenix Arizona, where I was living at the time. I completed a few sessions at my local YMCA, which helped me to reduce some stress and find a deep state of relaxation, however I still didn’t know much about the healing modality.
Around the same time, I landed in a large group Hypnosis conference for smoking cessation. I did quit this way… For a few days. I later learned that Hypnotherapy is highly effective at helping motivated people quit for good. However long-term results usually involve several one-on-one sessions with a highly trained Hypnotherapist, and requires a higher level of motivation than I admit I had at the time.
These initial Reiki sessions not only helped me with my day-to-day by reducing cravings, but sparked an intrigue and interest for the healing modality that at the time, I didn’t know would become my biggest passion.”
… Fast forward to 2013 …
“I was on a hike during my day off while on a travel assignment in Alaska when I slipped and tore the meniscus and MCL ligament of my right knee. I ended up in a leg immobilizer with crutches, and needed continuing medical care. Not only was I unable to work in a hospital, but I had no desire to return to the mainland USA anytime soon as I’d made friends and fallen in love with the area!
I decided to take a job as a part time nanny to a couple of preteens until my knee was stable. While I was content, my knee pain was near-unbearable. Like many, I didn’t want to take narcotics, nor did I want the side effects of long term NSAID use. Ice and rest could only take me so far…
I found a Reiki practitioner near me, and after just the first session, experienced incredible pain relief. I returned for another session, during which the practitioner offered to “attune” me so that I could give Reiki to myself. As well, she shared learning materials and prompted me to find a Reiki Master Teacher that would train and attune me so that I could expand my Reiki practice to others. I started giving myself daily treatments, and my pain slowly went away. I was able to enjoy my last few months in Alaska, having as many adventures as I could with a knee brace and crutches. Once I returned to Arizona, the MRI’s showed a dramatic healing of the tears. I was told surgery was no longer necessary. Ten years later, the tears have completely healed without the trace of a scar. It’s like the injury never happened.
I went on to study and achieve my Reiki Levels One through Three in Hawaii, completing my Master-Teacher Attunement in Sedona, Arizona in 2020.”
Arriving at Hypnotherapy
“While I witnessed and experienced some amazing healing and spiritual experiences with Reiki, I felt there was something missing in the approach I wanted to take in my practice.
I believe people should be fully empowered in their own healing experiences and journeys.
I began to hear and learn more about the fascinating practice of Hypnotherapy, remembering just how powerful the mind-body connection is in illness and health, thought patterns and success. I became drawn to the idea of using Hypnotherapy alone or in combination with energy work such as Reiki, to facilitate a deeper level of relaxation during a session - and longer lasting positive effects – potentially more quickly and with greater ease.
I took a break from my nursing job to study under Randal Churchill during a 200-hour Hypnotherapy intensive at the renowned Hypnotherapy Training Institute in Corte Madera. After completing the course, I tested to become a certified Hypnotherapist through the American Council of Hypnotherapy Examiners (ACHE), the premier hypnotherapist certifying board in the United States. To this day, I maintain ACHE certification through continuing education courses and additional trainings.
After years of learning, implementing and working with various healing modalities, I’ve come to recognize Hypnotherapy as the primary tool I use to help my clients. Each individual client receives a customized plan that includes traditional Hypnotherapy along with other healing modalities that might be helpful, such as Reiki, EMDResque* techniques and tapping. I feel honored to be a part of the healing and transformational journey with each and every one of my new and returning clients, and look forward to continuing to grow and learn, heal and transform on my own journey alongside them all.”

Deep S.E.A. ™ stands for Deep State Energetic Alignment. It is my experience that using additional techniques such as Reiki therapeutic touch allows the therapist to help the client reach a Deeper State of relaxation more quickly, allowing for more time for the actual hypnosis to take place. In addition, the reiki Energy delivered throughout the session often brings about heightened feelings of peace and well being. Physical, mental, and emotional healing of related or unrelated issues has also been known to occur. Alignment is when the Physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental aspect of the client are assisted into better balance, and more open communication between the conscious and subconscious minds is facilitated, as a result of the above method, often yielding profound results.
Note: Deep S.E.A. Hypnosis is appropriate for most types of the therapeutic sessions. It can involve hovering of hands above the body, or occasional or constant light touch on the head, arms, upper chest, mid-abdomen, or legs. It’s done fully clothed, and always with the prior consent of the client. It is not necessary in order to still achieve great results and when a client prefers, I’m always happy to simply do traditional hypnotherapy instead.

Hypnosis refers to a trance-like, or hypnotic, state. It's a completely natural phenomenon that we all experience daily. Think of those moments:
The morning fog: Just waking up, your mind still hazy, daydreams lingering.
Highway autopilot: Deep in thought while driving, suddenly realizing you missed an exit.
Creative immersion: Losing track of time while painting, writing, or absorbed in any activity.
Relaxed bliss: Basking on a beach or during a massage, letting worries melt away.
These are all examples of light hypnotic states. Simply put, they are shifts in consciousness where your critical mind takes a backseat, allowing your subconscious mind to take center stage. This subconscious mind holds immense potential.
-
Unlike your critical mind, the subconscious mind operates freely from rigid beliefs and habitual patterns.
A treasure trove of insights: Accessing it can unlock the "why" behind certain behaviors and guide positive change.
A wellspring of strength and growth: By tapping into its resources, we can discover immense motivation and personal development.
Imagine your subconscious mind as a powerful ally. Through hypnosis, we can harness its potential for healing, personal growth, and achieving our goals. So, the next time you daydream, get lost in a book, or simply relax, remember: you're experiencing a natural form of hypnosis, and within you lies untapped potential waiting to be explored.
-
Hypnotherapy unlocks the power of the subconscious mind to help clients achieve their desired changes.
By guiding them into a relaxed state, the hypnotherapist uses proven techniques to bypass the critical mind. With the client's consent, they plant suggestions in language the subconscious understands, replacing old patterns with new, more desirable ones. This can be a powerful and potentially faster way to break habits and create positive change.

Rei Ki (Reiki) means “Universal Life Force Energy” in Japanese. Reiki is an ancient form of energy healing usually involving some sort of light touch or a hovering of the practitioner’s hands above the client, in their energy field. A person trained and attuned in delivering Reiki energy is using their hands to gather and focus the life force energy to their client in order to help effect healing. The hands are often felt by the recipient as being warm or causing mild tingling or other sensations. The idea is that Reiki has a Divine intelligence and flows first to the area(s) of the recipient most in need of balance or healing at the time. .Sometimes immediately and at others over a period of time, this method may help unblock stuck or stagnant energy, usually resulting in release of pent-up emotion, and/or relief of physical symptoms. While it is widely believed to be a Spiritual healing practice, with the energy emanating from Divine Source, Reiki has no religious connotations. One need not have any particular spiritual or religious beliefs– indeed, any belief system at all– in order to experience the gentle benefits of Reiki. Reiki has been steadily gaining acceptance in the Western world over the past decades. In some countries it is even widely employed as a complementary health practice in hospital systems.
